The Quick Counting series provides five printed first-grade math workbooks for ages 6+. Children practise addition, subtraction, number relationships, and problem solving through structured lessons and homework. Topics and number ranges vary by part, with later books extending beyond numbers to 100.

Start with Part 1 for number work up to 100, number lines, and addition and subtraction strategies. Compare the later book descriptions if your child is ready for more challenging number work. Choose by current skills rather than age alone.

Skills covered across the series include:

  • Addition and subtraction, including regrouping
  • Number lines, place value, and number sequences
  • Skip-counting, even and odd numbers
  • Equations, inequalities, and missing numbers
