Description

Comparing and Ordering. Math Worksheets for 1st grade

If you’re looking for ways to help your child learn about numbers and math, comparing numbers to 100 is a great place to start. These math grade 1 worksheets are available as a PDF file or a hard copy.

We designed this set to help kids understand the concepts of greater than, less than, or equal. Children learn to compare numbers up to 100 and read numerical equalities and inequalities using the symbols < > =.

There are 3 levels of difficulty:

  • comparing two-digit numbers: 56 and 74
  • comparing number and expression: (34-15) and 17
  • comparing expressions: (25-9) and (2+11)

The math worksheets for grade 1 and 2 are self-explanatory, so there’s no need for extra instructions. Since the difficulty of exercises gradually increases, children learn to solve more complex problems and improve their counting skills.

With 45 pages of practice, children have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow their math skills. Also, it is a great to use at home or in class.
