Adding and Subtracting Fractions Worksheets

Our Fractions math worksheets for 2nd and 3rd graders start with identifying and noting fractions, partitioning shapes into equal parts, and writing parts as fractions. Problems increase in difficulty through adding and subtracting fractions worksheets and comparing fractions.

Children learn what “numerator” and “denominator” are and how to note a fraction correctly. Problems are supported with pictures and diagrams to make them accessible and understandable for kids.
