Description
Greater than, Less than, or Equal to
The main purpose of these worksheets is to teach kindergartens to compare numbers. The kindergarten math worksheets are available in PDF or hard copy format.
These worksheets assist children in developing the ability to compare and order whole numbers. Children learn to use the comparison signs “greater than,” “less than,” and “equal to” correctly; learn and read numerical equalities and inequalities; find the missing element based on the composition of numbers.
Children start by comparing the number of objects on pictures, gradually improving their ability to compare whole numbers using a number line. They then learn to compose simple addition and subtraction equations and inequalities.
Using these worksheets, children learn the idea of equality and inequality; learn and improve ability to compose equality and inequality, use the connection between the whole and its parts; promote the development of mathematical speech, memory, voluntary attention, and visual thinking.
