Description

A feature of our workbooks is the symbiosis of mental arithmetic and classical mathematics.

Mental arithmetic is a UNIQUE method of teaching children that trains the speed of perception and processing of information and allows them to harmoniously develop both hemispheres of the brain simultaneously by mentally visualizing the calculations on the abacus. An acquired brain is a basis for successful future activities.

With the workbook “Quick Counting: Numbers Under 100. Part 5,” you can effectively and efficiently teach children basic math skills.

The workbook contains exercises that teach children to identify numbers as even or odd, continue a numerical sequence or find its missing element, master addition and subtraction, and learn to count on an abacus in three or more steps.

Also, children learn to solve time problems, work with coordinates, add and subtract with regrouping, and work with traditional and Venn diagrams, pictures, and bar graphs.

Children learn to add/subtract simple fractions, solve word problems and inequalities, add and subtract fractions, repeat to add and subtract with regrouping, and do simple math with money. Also, children get the skills of multiplication and learn place values.

The material comprises 10 lessons plus additional homework exercises.

The workbook contains many funny pictures and exciting tasks that create positive motivation for learning and actively develop children’s logical thinking, memory, attention, and intelligence.

  1. Eleanor

With books like this, math isn’t scary at all. I could not figure out how to explain the multiplication tables to my son. But by studying this book, everything somehow went easily and without problems. We smoothly approached the concept of multiplication and did not even have time to get scared. Thanks to the authors.

  2. Zoey

My son really likes problems with money. He solves them with pleasure and finds change from the purchase.

  3. Elena

My daughter is using the books for the second year already, she is finishing a series of books for 6 years old and I will purchase books for 7 years old. Recommended.

  4. Nova

I use it in my work with children as additional problems to solve. I really like the material and the children are not bored.

  5. Lily

I would like to share my opinion about the lesson of mental arithmetic. My son was 5.5 years old when he first went to class, today he is little over 6 and he deftly adds and subtracts two-digit numbers, his memory has improved. I would like to add a course of mathematics to mental arithmetic. These books are just a godsend, they have everything! I am satisfied.

  6. Avery

I teach using these books, the son began to memorize more, more developed thinking appeared, the perception of the environment became more mature, now he can add two and three-digit numbers mentally. I am really glad we found it!
