Description

A feature of our workbooks is the symbiosis of mental arithmetic and classical mathematics.

Mental arithmetic is a UNIQUE method of teaching children that trains the speed of perception and processing of information and allows them to harmoniously develop both hemispheres of the brain simultaneously by mentally visualizing the calculations on the abacus. An acquired brain is a basis for successful future activities.

The workbook contains exercises that help children learn to identify numbers as even or odd, continue number sequences and find a missing element in a number sequence, master actions such as addition and subtraction, increase/decrease the number of objects using a number line; consolidate the concepts of greater-less-equal; remember how numbers are written and dialed on the abacus; learn to count on an abacus in three or more steps.

Also, children repeat working with a number line; skip-count by 2s, 5s, 10s; learn and repeat different ways to make a number; improve their problem-solving skills; learn to add with regrouping; learn to work with a coordinate plane; order numbers in increasing and decreasing order; solve word problems; find the same and different objects.

The material consists of 6 lessons plus additional exercises for homework to repeat.

My son is 6 years old. He was interested in numbers for a long time, so I decided to sign him up for mental arithmetic. The teacher could not find a good textbook, all they have is a book with tables and there was absolutely no variety. I tried this series of books, and it went great. Everyone in his group likes it and he quickly became interested in mathematics.

This children’s book is simply fantastic! It has been an absolute game-changer in teaching my 5-year-old how to count quickly and develop strong mental math skills. The colorful illustrations and engaging activities make learning to count a fun and enjoyable experience. My child’s confidence in math has soared since we started using this book, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend it to any parent looking to help their child excel in math at an early age!
